Subject: Newport Storytellers: March Zoom

How it works

  • These gatherings are informal and playful
  • We welcome storytellers, singers (with a song that tells a story) and listeners
  • We love to hear your news and listen to works in progress
  • Contributions around the 6 - 10 min mark (zoom can be tiring)
  • We plan for an hour but if we're still enjoying ourselves, we may go over.
  • On arrival we will create a list of participants and post in the chat so you know where you are.

Our events are made possible under the capacious wings of the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club. Please check their website for all activities, how to join and how to participate.

*World Storytelling Day

MARCH 18 coincides with World Storytelling Day (March 20). The THEME is LOST and FOUND. So if you're planning on joining us, you might like to match up your story to the WSD theme... but no pressure.

The Newport Folk and Fiddle Club aims to make all its events inclusive and welcoming to everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, disability or sexual preference. We ask that all performers consider whether their material is likely to cause offence. Offensive content is not welcome at our events.

Looking forward to it!
